When you install the TimePay App, we are able to provide you with a range of services (“Services”) which include viewing and analysis of business / financial data, communications with customers / prospects and suppliers and managing your finances. The Services include all such services that are currently offered, and include any future business or financial services that may be offered by us directly or in conjunction with our partners.
Collection and Use of Information
We collect and use various information from you to help you manage your business, accounting and finances better. Our Services may require installation of our software(s) on your mobile or similar devices, desktop and /or server.
Once our software is installed on your server, it enables us to access your business and financial data and related information and transfers it to our secure cloud-based storage system. You may then access your information on your mobile or desktop or any device, which in turn connects to our storage systems - thereby enabling provision of various parts of Services to you.
Our systems access your desktop / servers / mobile / other devices regularly for ensuring updation of information. Here are some examples of the types of Information our systems may collect and how we may use it.
What Information we Collect
When you register, or interact with us, we may collect a variety of personal information including your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, your address, shipping/billing address and/or your credit card number etc. to help us interact with you for sales, service, support, registration and payment.
As part of the Services provided to you, we may have to collect and store your financial information such as accounting transactions, and other data such as your customers / suppliers contact information.
We may collect additional information from you as relevant to Services availed by you, including but not limited to communications (email / sms / call / WhatsApp etc.) through our Services
If and where Services involve financial of business transactions facilitated by or enabled through TimePay, we may have to collect additional financial or business data such as bank information or GST details. Such information would be collected as reasonably required for providing you such Services, and would be subject to relevant industry-standard security protection (e.g. as per respective bank security norms)
We collect information about your systems / devices as it interacts with us, such as your IP address and browser information.
We use common internet technologies, such as cookies and Web beacons to manage our websites, services and advertising programs.
We collect user feedback, community discussions, chats and other interactions on the app / at our sites.
We may obtain additional information about you and/or your business contacts, such as geolocation, credit history from public or commercially available sources.
Collectively the term “Information” is used to refer to all information that we may collect, including the information elements highlighted in the points above.
How we Protect and Use Your Information
Our Services are designed to provide you a variety of business and financial tools and facilities through the TimePay mobile app and website and other interfaces. We recognise the sensitivity associated with your confidential information. Accordingly, we protect and use your Information in a responsible way as follows:
We do not share your personally identifiable or financial or confidential information with any third parties, except for specified purposes to help you with Services as provided in this policy document.
We use reliable and trusted third party technology and service providers (such as but not limited to Google Cloud, Mailgun, AWS, Google Analytics, Msg91) for storing / processing your data and transactions, thereby rendering various parts of the Services.
We use your information to provide you with various data views and analysis and to render the Services you request, to tell you about other products and services, and to give you a customized interactive experience as you use our products and services.
We may use your Information for support, to develop new features, and to improve the overall quality of our products and services.
We may use your Information to contact you and your contacts, and to make offers for various products and services as may be offered by us or by our business partners.
We may anonymize or mask or summarize your Information, in a way that does not identify you personally, and combine it with other information to understand how our products are used and to better deliver Services. We may also use such anonymized / masked / summarized Information as input into, and for developing and marketing new products and services to various customers. We will have perpetual rights to market such products and services without restriction.
The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on our latest announcements, software updates, and upcoming schemes, send important notices, such as communications about our services and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
We also use your Information to help us create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our services and content.
We may also use Information for internal purposes such as data analysis, and research to improve our Services, and customer communications, and to enhance your overall experience with our Services.
Cookies and Other Technologies
Disclosure to Third Parties & Partners
Except for the limited circumstances described in this Policy or your applicable agreement / terms of service, we do not provide your information to third parties. When we need to provide your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties, we will only share it to the extent reasonably necessary. We may also share your Personally Identifiable Information as required or permitted by law and as described below.
Use of Service Providers / Partners: We use certain trusted third parties and partners for enabling and delivering our Services to you or to bring various additional services to you as part of our Services or allow such third-parties to offer their services. Such third parties include but not limited to, providers of information security services, IT services, payment gateways, email or messaging services, data processing, management & presentation services, banks, financing companies, customer services & support, research & survey services.
Sometimes, the TimePay App or our communications may show links to third-party websites or allow such third parties to offer you their services for your convenience. If you choose to visit such third-party websites or access such services, you should be guided by their respective data privacy policies, for which TimePay will not be responsible.
Reorganization / Changes:
In the event that we are involved in a business reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale we may assign our business to a qualified party, and accordingly transfer your Information to such party, so as to enable continuity of Services to you. We will notify you (for example, via a message to the email address associated with your account) of any such development and outline your choices in that event.
Law & Order
In certain situations, we may be required to disclose your Information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in such scenarios, and accordingly provide any or all of your information, as may be requested, to government authorities or government authorised third parties
Security / Protection of Your Information
We take the security of your Information very seriously. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal and other information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received.
Fair Use Policy
Our products and services are designed to help you and all of our Customers in managing their business and finances efficiently. We expect all of our Customers to use our systems, products and services in a fair and responsible way.
In case, we detect, suspect or observe any misuse or gross deviation from normal usage of our systems, we reserve the right to deactivate the accounts of any or all such user(s), at our discretion without notice to such user(s).
We may need to modify this Policy to address new issues or changes to our Services or policies. We will post changes here, so you should check this page regularly. If we make significant changes to this Policy, we may notify you in other ways (for instance, by app notification, email or with a banner on the site) prior to the change becoming effective. Any significant changes we make will take effect 7 (seven) days after the update date noted above. Your continued use of the Services after the new effective date will constitute your acceptance of the changed Policy.
